Judith Aftergut is a writer, teacher, facilitator and co-founder of The Honoring Institute. Her inquiry into honoring, based upon her Jewish upbringing, began when she became her mother's legal guardian. Judith's promise is: By 2012, all people honoring themselves, each other, the planet and the mystery of the universe. Her job is to plant and nourish and nurture the distinction 'honoring' in the world. Ruth B. Shields is a linguist, artist, and course designer who promises that, by 2020, all people are participating fully in all of life, for all of our lives. She is the founder of The House of Being (whose website www.houseofbeing.com will be launched by October 2, 2002), which provides resources and materials for people to learn "words that work for the world" and make a difference locally and globally. She designs and leads workshops for wannabe-bilinguals and works with international organizations to create opportunities for participation in learning and "learning dialogues" among people of all ages. Deborah London Baker is President of London Baker Group, a company committed to her Impossible Promise "By 2022, all people consciously choosing their lives. All people being honored." She is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst and Certified Behavior Values Analyst. Christopher Jones' Impossible Promise is: By 2020, a world in which every person is honored, and present to the miracle of life. Chris is an estate planning attorney and community leader with a focus on elders and legacies. He serves as board president of an innovative Alzheimer's daycare center, chair of a county legislative committee on aging and as a lawschool instructor. He regularly lectures about creating lifelong independence and family legacies. He has been married to his wife, Sharon, for twenty five years.
